Free Suicide Prevention for Practice Nurses & Aged Care Nurses
As indicated by the recent ABS figures, suicide remains a major cause of death in Australia. UnitingCare ReGen and Wesley LifeForce are collaborating to deliver suicide prevention workshops to frontline healthcare professionals in Victoria and Tasmania. Workshops are offered to Practice Nurses and Aged Care Nurses from June 2013 – June 2014. The training is free to attend and designed to meet the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia CPD Requirements. This program is part of the Commonwealth Government’s Suicide Prevention Strategy.
